At LPRS, we’re really excited to be pushing the IoT boundaries with the pre-release of our new eRIC-LoRaNTN radio module, powered by Semtech’s advanced LR2021 4th generation LoRa transceiver, designed for seamless integration with our proven eRIC-LoRa product family.  

eRIC-LoRaNTN brings unrivalled flexibility for OEM’s, providing global coverage for devices using Low Earth Orbit (LEO) cube satellites, removing coverage limitations of land based networks.

LPRS’s implementation of this technology provides unmatched flexibility for OEM’s seeking both hybrid terrestrial and non-terrestrial communications with its smart network selection choice algorithms to dynamically decide the best communication path to use.

Our eRIC-LoRaNTN module incorporates a cutting-edge Semtech LR2021 multi-band transceiver chip, enabling:


Dual-mode operation: Seamlessly switch between terrestrial LoRaWAN® and satellite NTN networks.


Global frequency support: Variants to support Terrestrial and NTN networks, sub-GHz, 2.4 GHz ISM bands and licensed S-band radio.


Ultra-low power: Draws just 39 mA during transmission, extending battery life to 10+ years.


-148 dBm sensitivity: Achieves reliable connectivity even in signal-challenged environments.
